Context of the mission

Sodexo operates services for Ministry of Defence since many years on basecamp across UK + Cyprus. Both internal stakeholders and MoD were looking for new ways to fight against generation gaps, isolation over weekend and talent acquisition for their activities.

Objectives

- Establish a quant (done with Ipsos) picture of key populations represented

  onthose type of sites

- Build a couple of solutions to improve current basecamp experience

Methodologies & deliverables

- quant study with Ipsos

- Qual field research on user experience

- Couple of codesign workshops to identify key moments and areas of

  improvement with our client MoD

- Prototype and Deployment on Basecamps

Results and achievements

- The new offer “Village” for MoD in place since 2019

- FEw FM prizes and press coverage on the co-design approach we had.
